Hi! I am Michelle, the maker behind Our Little Slice of Earth. All my life I've loved being creative with my hands. From baking to crafting, I have found peace in creating. After having two kids in three years, I found I had lost that time to myself. Remembering how much I enjoyed making candles for family one Christmas, I decided that would be my thing! I got to work on my research. I had no idea the amount of science and experimenting behind it all but what I found was astounding. I spent six months perfecting the wicking, but when you smell them you'll see it was so worth it! It was important to me to use the cleanest of raw materials, after all, I have two children and I wouldn't want to affect their lungs in any way. That was why I chose to use soy wax, cotton wicks and the cleanest fragrances I could find. I vow to always use the utmost care when selecting my raw materials for the products going into your home.
